UCET is dedicated to promoting the sport of riding and care of horses at a collegiate level. UCET is a nationally competitive club sport, which competes within the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association. The Young Guns 4-H Equestrian Drill Team is the premier rodeo drill team of Northern Kentucky. Led and coached by Joyce Voet.

We have been featured at the Kentucky Horse Park, local and regional horse shows, and we continue to add more venues to our schedule. Our group is extremely versatile - accepting all breeds and all disciplines. New members always welcome.

Our goal is to promote, protect, educate and unify the Northern Kentucky horse community. The NKHN includes individual horse owners, businesses and non-profit organizations within the greater Northern Kentucky area. Created in cooperation with the UK Cooperative Extension Service, the NKHN's projects include:

  • Organizing seminars, clinics, trail rides, horse shows and other equine-related events
  • Protecting and expanding riding trails in our area
  • Volunteering training & field support for equine abuse and rescue operations
  • Assisting Northern Kentucky horse owners in becoming better horsemen
  • Creating a sense of community among horse owners in our region
